Awesome Organizations I Work With

OCG_061_5_05_23_edited_edited.jpg

I have worked with the Oregon Consulting Group for the past year as a Consultant, Account Manager, Project Manager, Senior Manager, and President. The Oregon Consulting Group is a student-run strategy consulting firm housed out of the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon. I have been staffed on multiple projects with amazing clients, focusing on business strategy and expansion. My past clients include a healthcare per diem staffing startup, an electrochemistry lab startup, and a >$1B AUM regional bank. Under my leadership, our group has landed a US-leading Kombucha manufacturer and a $3B+ valued lithium-ion battery material producer.

I am on the board of directors of Taob Holdings, LLC, a family-owned asset management company. My roles comprise identifying investment property leads, underwriting deals, and networking with other professionals. In the company's first year, I led a portfolio growth of 20%. We have investments across the PNW and Nashville, Tennessee. I look at real estate as a puzzle waiting to be pieced together, as each property of a portfolio needs to fit together to create a beautiful picture/successful portfolio.

My Values

INTEGRITY:

Having strong morals and sticking to them is something I practice. Those who have a strong moral compass tend to attract like-minded individuals and make meaningful impacts in both their professional and personal lives.

EMPATHY:

Genuinely caring for others is the most essential aspect of building relationships and leadership. I believe creating an empathetic relationship with my interactions, will allow me to build richer relationships and make a more meaningful impact.

AUTHENTICITY:

Being my authentic self is something I have found to separate me from others. Interacting with others in an authentic manner allows people to quickly develop trust and confidence in me, which as a result, opens further doors.

THE SMALL THINGS:

I have learned that little things such as being responsive, cleaning up the office, or taking time to help someone with their work will take me further than being the smartest or most talented. These trivial tasks build my brand slowly but surely, creating a positive perception of myself in other's minds. People want to work with those who care for them and whom they can depend on, not those who are the smartest in the room.

PROGRESS:

Making daily progress toward my goals is my focus. I practice becoming 1% better every day instead of becoming 10% better every month. Challenging myself emotionally, mentally, and physically is something I enjoy. I know that if I take a daily step forward, I will accomplish my goals.

Odd Jobs & What I Learned

Pig Farmer: Partnerships are important. Asking for help and acknowledging when you are operating out of your capabilities is crucial.

Lumberjack: The importance of being dependable. In my sophomore year, I ran a wood fire business with clients across my home county. I lived in a small, cold community that needed firewood to make it through the winter. My clients depended on me to fulfill their orders and deliver them on time. When my business partner left the business with 30 orders to fulfilled, I wanted to give up, but I knew my clients needed the firewood for the upcoming winter, teaching me the importance of following through on your word.

Running a Grilled Cheese Shop: Being creative and innovative is key. I started selling grilled cheeses out of my dorm room to provide affordable, late-night food for University of Oregon freshmen. I saw the problem of lack of affordable food upon the closure of dining halls, and instead of accepting what is, I created a solution.

Dock Worker: Being approachable is important. So is smiling. So is holding the kayak when people are getting in.

My Interests

In my free time, I love to snowboard, hike, be in nature, and push my limits. I am passionate about the environment and helping create a sustainable future, bringing this value into all of my work.
